Pittsburgh artist and former NFL player Baron Batch has collaborated with Covestro to create a one-of-a-kind painting on a specially-made PUReWallTM panel.
Baron’s unmistakable vibrant artwork is well known throughout the city, which is also home to our North American headquarters. The commissioned piece depicts the Pittsburgh skyline in vibrant Covestro colors, representative of the spirit of our company and culture.
Baron agreed to create the work after learning about the benefits of PUReWallTM and our commitment to further the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. PUReWallTM innovative insulated panels are energy efficient and constructed with a weather-resistant barrier, so they’re ready to be installed as soon as they arrive on the jobsite. This has solved many challenges for the building and construction industry, such as labor shortages, waste and workforce bottlenecks.
The colourful painting will be housed in the lobby of our Polyurethanes building in Pittsburgh.
Christine Bryant, Senior VP of Polyurethanes North America, said: “We were delighted to work with Baron to bring together the joy of art and creativity with our innovative PUReWallTM product. Our experts are constantly working to solve challenges for our customers and the wider industry, and PUReWallTM is a prime example of how our innovation is making a positive difference.”
